hosts American Homeshop along
with his wife Suzy.
The Great British Woodshop -
David Free is a solid woodworker with a sense of history.
He normally starts the show by showing us his inspiration for a project.
He's kinda like Norm on the other side of the pond.
DIY Network -
Not so much a woodworking show, but a cable channel dedicated to the DIY enthusiast.
Master woodworker David J. Marks hosted a show called Woodworks
for a few years, but it's no longer on. There are still some good home
improvement shows on there though...
Router Workshop -
Bob & Rick Rosendahl are hosts of this long running PBS series
routers and their use. These boys can make a pile of saw dust in a hurry.
This Old House -
This is the show that started it all. Host Kevin O'Connor, master carpenter
Norm Abram, general contractor Tom Silva, plumbing and heating expert Richard
Trethewey, and landscape contractor Roger Cook give practical advice on home
construction and renovation.
House Calls -
Ron Hazelton is a DIY guy... if it's around the house and broken,
Ron can fix it. And, he shows us how too.
Home Again -
Bob Vila is a general contractor that details home construction,
renovation, and home improvement. Bob's arch rival is Tim Taylor, host
of Home Improvement.
Hometime -
Dean Johnson is the longtime host of this venerable construction
show.
Home and Garden TV -
HGTV is like DIY Network
on valium. It's a shame... it used to be a good TV channel, but not so
much anymore.
Forge and Anvil -
Ok, so this isn't a woodworking show either. It's a blacksmithing show
hosted by the University of Georgia Center
for Continuing Education, and Dr. Alan Rogers is a blacksmith.
But, every woodworker needs to be a little bit of a metalsmith. And besides,
he's probably a cousin or something... You can see some of his work at

The Furniture Guys -
are Joe L’Erario and Ed Feldman The specialize
in furniture repair, restoration, and refinishing. They're funny too.
