Entire - no kind of marginal division or nearly lacking marginal division. | |
Serrulate - having very small, sharp straight-edged teeth pointing to the apex. | |
Serrate - having sharp, straight-edged teeth pointing to the apex. |

Doubly-serrate - primary teeth have smaller secondary teeth. | |
Dentate - with sharp, wide teeth that are perpendicular to the margin. | |
Crenate - with shallow, obtuse or rounded teeth, scalloped. |

Sinuate - uneven margin, alternately deeply convex and concave. | |
Undulate - having a wavy up and down edge. | |
Incised - cut, irregularly and more or less deeply and sharply. |
